Nobody is gonna date you just because you like hockey, or a band, or whatever.
You need to have other redeeming qualities, so please stop bitching, jesus christ.
Hey now, my relationship started basically because Stephanie and I had a mutual love for Detroit Red Wings hockey, Brand New, and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness…
But she has other qualities besides those, correct? I’m talking about the girls who expect guys to be all over them just because they like hockey.
Oh god, no. I’m terrible.
The point is we DID date because of hockey and bands. We KEPT dating (dating/living together/getting engaged) because of those other redeeming qualities.
But we DATED because of hockey and bands.
Sure, that’s why you started to talk. But what I’m saying is, these girls expect guys to stay interested in them when the only good thing about them is that they like hockey. They can’t seem to understand that they need other things to keep someone interested.
Oh. Yeah.
